Real Goods Solar, Inc. is a leading residential solar energy integrator, having installed over 4,500 solar systems. Real Goods Solar offers turnkey solar energy services, and has 30 years of experience in residential solar energy, beginning with the sale in 1978 of the first solar photovoltaic, or PV, panels in the United States.

We love the space that RSOL operates in. We expect solar to continue to be adopted by homeowners, first by those more open to green solutions and then second by the masses when they realize how clean solar is and the costs savings it provides as the technology becomes cheaper.

For being an early mover, RSOL is well positioned to take advantage of the future switch of houses to solar. RSOL has been slightly profitable the last two years and had operating cash flow positive of $1.30 million last year. RSOL reported revenue for its most recent quarter of $10.3 million, an increase of 141% over the same period last year.

The company is sitting on $24.1 million in cash and a clean balance sheet with total assets outnumbering total liabilities by over 8 to 1.

RSOL has a book value of $3.12. RSOL has room to move in an emerging industry where they are positioned to become a major player. RSOL is still relatively undiscovered, but green solutions are being embraced more and more each day, it's only a matter of time before RSOL gets discovered and trades towards its IPO level of $8.00 - $9.00 again.
