The NASDAQ looks like it could have some support around its current price. Tuesday, June 24, 1:41pm: NASDAQ trading down today but has managed to rebound from it's mid-morning lows. Some late day trading could push it into positive territory for the day. Wednesday, June 18, 1:48pm: NASDAQ dropping below 50-day to 2424 points. Hopefully a late-day rally will create some recovery. Friday, June 13, 12:45pm: NASDAQ trading up so far today on news that the Fed should be keeping interest rates stable when they have their next meeting. Thursday, June 12: Rough day for the NASDAQ, failing to recover the 50-day. Wednesday, June 11: The NASDAQ lost support today and dropped close to 55 points to 2,394.01. Oil jumped today to over $136 a barrel and is continuing to weigh on the market. Hot Tracks Tuesday, June 24, 1:44pm: NewMarket Technology Inc. (NMKT) is trading up 10% on news that it is to acquire a 75% stake in Everex. NMKT claims they will complete this deal without the use of stocks or securities. No dilution is good for NMKT. Thursday, June 19, 12am: TYM posted as our latest stock pick. Wednesday, June 18, 1:42pm: MPET up $0.15 so far today. Tuesday, June 17, 12:30am: MPET posted as our latest rockin' stock pick. Check it out for yourselves. Friday, June 13, 12:53pm: XNL looking quite bullish, hovering around $0.70. I'm looking at that potential $0.75 level very carefully. Rock on! Thursday, June 12, 11:00pm: Check out Xethanol Corp. (XNL), a speculative ethanol play experiencing some increased volume the past few days. Updates on Stock Picks Monday, June 30: DPDW has put together a solid reversal, closing higher the last two days and spiking higher. There is still room left on DPDW chart to move higher, do we have chart topper on our hands with DPDW? Wednesday, June 18: MPET up big so far today. DPDW is dropping slightly and XNL is hanging around UNCH at $0.70. Friday, June 13: DPDW hanging around UNCH, but did I ever say it would be a fast mover?
